Heat Wave

The days of us sweltering,
As started to begin,
For the heat wave as…
Now begun to set in.

The sun beaming down,
And the rays burning bright,
My hair has fizzled,
In the sizzle of the light.

There on my phone,
Alerts start to comes in,
Saying that the drought,
Warning as started to begin.

Four-minute showers,
Is all we can have?
Do not waste it on…
Watering all of those flowers.
