Snowy Day

Hi everyone, wow the temperature has really dropped this past week, here in the U.K as well as having to cope with storm Arwen. I’m a celeb, had to come off -air for about three days because of the storm, resulting in the campmates being escorted separately off-site, due to safety reasons. Finally, the campmates were able to come back to Gwrych Castle tonight, and I must admit that I was stunned to see naughty boy back, especially with all his moaning he’s been doing about wanting to leave.

Anyway on with today’s blog, It’s a poem about the “Snow Day” are currently having around the country.

Woke up today,
On a white snowy day,
The snowflakes are…
Slowly drifting down,
As it covers the ground,
Whiteness befalls the town.

Across the roofs,
And chimney tops.
The treetops glisten,
While the children listen.

The temperature here,
Is very low,
It comes in below zero,
As the lake freezes over.

Trudging along,
On the crisp white snow,
You can see it glow,
In the midnight air,
It shines everywhere.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post. Keep yourselves warm, especially on those blustery stormy days. See you all back here next week.
